Role
• To oversee the administrative functions of our HR processes and be the liaison for the Directors, with the wider team.
• To support the COO in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring we maintain a regulatory approach to all activities.
• To foster a positive and nurturing work environment but being able to manage challenging situations when required.
Responsibilities
• Managing the recruitment pathway to include pre and post recruitment tasks
• Advising on HR processes within the wider team
• Reviewing and updating current HR processes and policies
• Payroll and P11D information
• Management of HR database
• Management of staff benefit schemes and on-going communication
• Scheduling inductions based on current template
• Scheduling probation meetings and taking notes at formal meeting dates
• Sickness recording, monitoring and wellbeing checks
• Co-ordinating annual leave and appointment requests
• Co-ordinating annual reviews
• Managing disciplinary processes in partnership with the Directors
• Overseeing the leavers process
• Reviewing employee perks and sharing with the team, especially around our wellbeing offering
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and maturity within the role
• Being the liaison for all HR issues for the wider team
• Producing monthly reports for the SMT
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as deemed necessary by the COO
Essential Knowledge and Experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR role
• A HR qualification or working towards a relevant qualification
• Demonstrable positive behaviours in managing change.
• Adaptable with advanced problem-solving skills.
• Able to demonstrate an excellent level of verbal and written communication.
• Able to effectively promote positive team spirit in an open, non-judgemental
and accessible manner.
• High attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to completion.
• Confident to make and defend decisions, and to challenge appropriately when
required.
• Work effectively in stressful situations and under pressure.
Desired Knowledge and Experience

for Part Time HR Advisor position

Role
• To assess, plan and facilitate rehabilitation programmes for clients who have suffered traumatic injuries.
Responsibilities
• To undertake immediate needs assessments that comply with the requirements of the Rehabilitation Code 2015, and provide client and instructing parties with clinically appropriate, reasonable and cost-effective rehabilitation plans.
• To produce well-written and comprehensive immediate needs assessment reports and update reports within appropriate time frames as identified with managers.
• To manage a caseload of clients in a manner that demonstrates proactive and clinically appropriate input, regular routine review and accurate budget management.
• To ensure treatment for clients is delivered by clinicians or providers who have appropriate qualifications, expertise and skills.
• To have an excellent understanding of statutory services and ensure good liaison with, and use of, NHS and social care services as appropriate for each individual client.
• Be clear regarding the boundaries of case management within a personal injury context, i.e. that case management is not a frontline service and we are not authorized or funded to deal with issues arising that are unrelated to the index accident. However as regulated healthcare professionals our codes of conduct
require us to do all we can to ensure the safety and welfare of those individuals with whom we work. Therefore, where we have concerns about the safety or welfare of our clients, we will alert the relevant statutory services as appropriate and ensure the discussions and actions taken are comprehensively documented.
• To act within the processes and guidelines identified in the Bridge Case Management employee handbook and HR policies.
• To complete mandatory training as required and identified in the staff training database.
• To ensure that appropriate charges for case management time are logged for each item of work on any specific client file, and that these charges are made in accordance with the guidance on charging.
• Other case management duties as agreed with Directors.
Key Outputs
• Revenue – measured via accounts (case management time charged)
• Positive contribution to the client’s wellbeing – measured via monitoring of achievement of client rehab goals, feedback from client/insurer/solicitor/MDT
•  Enable the personal injury process to conclude – measured via feedback from referring parties and via file closure process
