Wherever possible Bridge Case Management is dedicated to assisting our clients back to their pre-accident lifestyle, including employment. Health, Work and Well-Being, a government led initiative has stated ‘on a growing evidence base working is good for health’.
Bridge Case Management assesses all clients from a vocational viewpoint at the Immediate Needs Assessment stage. This includes consideration of lifestyle options for the client, hobbies, pastimes, and general activities, even if the client was not working at the time of the accident.
Communication with the client’s employer is encouraged, and a plan for an appropriate return to work is provided at the earliest possible stage.
In those cases where the client has significant injuries, and a return to their pre-accident work appears unlikely Bridge Case Management will provide support and assistance to explore alternatives.
