Jo qualified as a registered general nurse in 2013. Since then she has a developed a broad variety of clinical experience, both in NHS and private healthcare. She has held senior management positions within private residential and nursing care settings specialising in neurological disorders including brain injury, tetraplegia, dementias, Huntington’s Disease and psychiatric disorders.
She has a strong background in business development and clinical management. She is financially astute with an excellent understanding and knowledge of budgets. She has a keen eye for detail and a positive “can do” attitude. She is proficient at working to strict deadlines and demands as well as being an effective problem solver. She is highly organised, efficient, personable and able to deliver consistently high results in challenging and pressurised working environments.
Her previous clinical and management experience has stood her in very good stead for moving into the field of rehabilitation. Following her move to Bridge Case Management she has been able to apply all her skills in liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, promoting independence and supporting clients with their healthcare choices.
Her current case holds comprises of complex orthopaedic cases, amputees, brain injury, chronic pain and psychological injury.
